The Deputy Program Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing daily operations for Special Operations Forces (SOF) technical prototype and production programs. The Deputy Program Manager will manage all subtask areas, including task planning, metrics, resource and budget management, cost control, and reporting. They will develop and maintain clear program/project plans and schedules using standard project management tools. Our ideal candidate is located in the Tampa area. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks/projects are delivered following the Client approved priorities, schedule, and budget. 
  • Provide monthly Project Management Reviews for all approved tasks/projects, including deviations and remediation strategies.
  • Coordinate support from internal staff members to execute milestone objectives. This requires accurately defining customer needs and converting them into actionable tasks.
  • Support the Program Manager with critical client quarterly milestone reviews.
  • Develop and implement an Agile program management process to execute contract requirements.
  • Assist in the development and adherence to the Project Protection Implementation Plan 
  • Directly contribute to program success through cost management, schedule tracking, contract performance, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance
  • Ensure efficient and effective contract execution.
  • Limited travel requirements. 

Qualifications Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10+ years of project/program management and supervisory experience.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or active pursuit of certification.
  • Demonstrated expert understanding of business practices and resource optimization within large organizations.
  • Proven experience coordinating with corporate Program Management Offices (PMOs).
  • Expert-level knowledge of the intelligence production cycle, encompassing collection, targeting, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and strategic planning.
  • Experience working with multiple Combatant Commands (COCOMs).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of intelligence oversight and security regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with senior military and government civilian personnel.

Qualifications Preferred: 

  • Masters degree in business or a relevant field 
  • All-Source Intelligence Analysis and Production experience that adhere to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s)
  • Previous experience managing Government contracts
