Product Owner

Growth - Remote - Full Time

Torchlight is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner in a 100% remote role to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in driving successful product development, particularly with cloud based Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. This individual will play a crucial role in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap while collaborating closely with cross functional teams to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate a compelling product  vision that aligns with the company's overall goals and market needs. 

Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap,  outlining key features, timelines, and dependencies. 

Requirements Gathering and Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders and

customers to gather and prioritize product requirements based on market trends,

customer feedback, and business objectives. 

Agile Leadership: Serve as the Product Owner within Agile development teams, 

ensuring clear understanding of product backlog items, prioritizing user stories, 

and managing sprint planning and execution. 

Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication and 

collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, 

marketing, and sales. 

Product Launch and Adoption: Drive successful product launches and post-launch  adoption through effective marketing and communication strategies. Metrics and Data Analysis: Analyze product performance data and customer  feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform future product decisions. 

Qualifications: 

Experience: 

Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably within the SaaS industry. 3+ years of experience in product management or a related field. 

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering  impactful products to market. 

Technical Skills: 

.

Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). 

Proficiency in planning and tracking tools like Jira and strong understanding of cloud-based SaaS architecture and technologies. 

Soft Skills: 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence  stakeholders at all levels. 

Proven track record of resolving conflicts and negotiating win-win solutions.

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a  related field is preferred. 

DOD Top Secret Clearance required

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) or enterprise resource

planning (ERP) software. 

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools. 

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certifications. Experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence. 

Background in the public sector or military organizations.
